TesKings

A premium Tesla accessories store where the hard part was making a large catalogue feel small.

The businessWho they are

An accessories catalogue that only makes sense per vehicle.

TesKings sells premium accessories for Tesla vehicles. The catalogue spans several models and many accessory categories, and almost nothing is universal: a part that fits one model does not fit the next. The store's job is to make a shopper confident that what they are buying fits the car sitting in their driveway.

The problemWhat was in the way

Every wrong-fit purchase is a return and a refund.

In an accessories store, browsing by category alone guarantees mistakes. A shopper who has to cross-reference model years against product titles will either abandon the cart or buy the wrong thing — and the second outcome is worse, because it costs a return, a refund and the customer.

What we builtThe work

Organised by model first, category second.

Model-first navigation

The catalogue is organised by vehicle model before accessory type, so a shopper filters to their own car before seeing anything.

Accessory-type structure

Within a model, a clean category structure so browsing stays shallow no matter how the catalogue grows.

Product presentation

A premium product deserves premium presentation. The store leads with the product, not with chrome around it.

Built to add to

New models and categories drop into the existing structure rather than requiring a rebuild each time the range expands.

ResultsWhat it produced

What changed after launch.

The store runs at 9,200 monthly visitors, a 6.2% click-through rate and a 4.1% conversion rate. For a catalogue organised by vehicle model, that conversion rate is the number that matters: it means people are finding the part for their car rather than bouncing off a generic grid.
