If you typed "Wasatch IT" into Google, there's a good chance you're looking for computer support, network help, or a managed IT provider somewhere along the Wasatch Front. Wasatch Web is not that. We build websites, apps, and AI automation for Utah businesses. We don't manage servers, fix printers, troubleshoot email, or run a help desk. If that's what you need, a dedicated IT support company is the right call, and a search for "IT support Utah" will get you there faster than we can.
We get this mix-up often enough that it's worth explaining clearly, so you land in the right place the first time.
What people searching for "wasatch it" actually need
Most of the time, someone searching this phrase needs one of a few things: a company to manage their office network, someone to call when a computer breaks, help migrating email or files, or ongoing tech support for a small business with no in-house IT person.
That's a real and necessary service. It's just not what we do. Wasatch Web is based in Riverton, Utah, and we focus entirely on the parts of a business that face the public: the website, the booking system, the ads, and the automation that handles customer questions when nobody's at the desk.
If your business needs both, that's common. A lot of our clients have a separate IT provider for their internal systems and come to us for the website and marketing side.
Wasatch IT vs Wasatch Web: the actual difference
IT support typically covers:
- Computer and printer troubleshooting
- Network setup and security for internal systems
- Email hosting and migration
- Backup and disaster recovery for office equipment
- Help desk tickets for staff
What we do instead:
- Custom website design and development
- Web and mobile app development
- AI chatbots and automation for customer inquiries, scheduling, and follow-up
- Managed Google and Meta advertising
- Hosting, security, and technical SEO for the site itself
There's some overlap. Hosting and website security sit in both worlds, which is probably part of why the search terms get confused. But if your computers won't turn on, we're not the ones to call. If your website doesn't bring in calls or bookings, that's us.
Who we actually build for
We work with Utah businesses, mostly in three groups: golf courses and event venues, med spas and skin clinics, and local service businesses like pest control, fencing, and other home and professional services. Everything is built in house, nothing is outsourced, and clients own their code, content, hosting, and domain outright. No lock-in beyond the agreed term, no handing your site to a third party you've never heard of.
For golf courses and event venues, we built the site for Eaglewood Golf Course in North Salt Lake, which handles tee time booking, event inquiries, and dining information in one place. You can see that build at Eaglewood Golf Course.
For med spas and skin clinics, we built Iconic Skin Boutique in Salt Lake City, which organizes their treatment menu and online booking for clients. That case study is at Iconic Skin Boutique.
If your business falls into one of these categories, those two examples will give you a better sense of what we actually build than a general IT company's site ever could.
What it costs to work with Wasatch Web
We're not going to make you dig for pricing. Here's what we charge:
- Managed Website, $99/month: month to month, cancel anytime. This is for a site that already exists and just needs ongoing hosting, updates, and management.
- Business Website Plan, $299/month: a 12-month term that includes a custom-built site, managed Google and Meta ads, hosting, security, technical SEO, analytics, an AI chatbot, landing pages for your ad campaigns, two blog posts a month, and a dedicated account manager. See the full breakdown on the Business Website Plan page.
- Growth Partner, $899/month: a 12-month term with everything in the Business Website Plan, plus full ad management across Google, Meta, TikTok, and Google Local Service Ads, monthly reporting, and a strategy call. Full details are on our pricing page.
- One-off builds: quoted per project, typically between $1,500 and $8,000, depending on scope.
Whatever your ad budget is, it goes straight to the ad platform itself. We never mark it up.
When you need an actual IT provider instead
If your problem is on the inside of your business, slow computers, a network that keeps dropping, email that won't sync across devices, you need an IT support company, not a web design or marketing company. We're not going to pretend otherwise just to keep you on the phone.
A few signs you need IT support rather than a website partner:
- Your staff can't access shared files or internal systems
- You need help desk support for day to day tech issues
- Your office network or hardware needs setup or maintenance
- You're dealing with email outages or data backup concerns
None of that is something we offer, and we'd rather point you in the right direction than waste your time.
When Wasatch Web is the right call
On the other hand, if your actual problem is that your website looks outdated, doesn't show up when people search for your business, doesn't let people book or inquire easily, or just isn't bringing in the calls and appointments you need, that's squarely what we handle.
We're a small company, founded in 2018 by brothers Kareem Chams and Ryan Chams, based in Riverton. Everything from design to development to the AI automation we build is done in house. We've worked with over 300 Utah businesses, and we're rated 5.0 across 18 verified KSL reviews with no negative reviews.
If that sounds like the kind of company you were actually looking for when you searched "Wasatch IT," we're happy to have cleared up the confusion.
What to do next
If you already have a site that works fine and just needs to be kept up and running without a big monthly commitment, start with the Managed Website plan. If you're building something new or your current site isn't doing its job, our full pricing page breaks down every option, including the Business Website Plan and Growth Partner, so you can see exactly what's included before you talk to anyone.
